Abadon, a prominent non-binary wrestler, rose to prominence in AEW before parting ways with the promotion earlier this year. Obviously, this was a significant career setback, but they’re currently thriving on the independent circuit. And now the self-proclaimed “Zombae,” who loves to dress up, has captivated their social media audience with a striking Marilyn Manson-inspired ensemble, evoking the aesthetic of his Mechanical Animals era, an album best known for iconic tracks like “The Dope Show” and “Rock Is Dead.”
37-year-old Abadon entered the professional wrestling world in 2019 via the Rocky Mountain Pro Academy in Colorado. Their unique horror-inspired persona quickly garnered attention on the independent scene and subsequently caught the eye of AEW management. However, despite showing plenty of their potential, Abadon’s tenure in AEW and sister promotion ROH was hampered by injuries and inconsistent booking, which limited opportunities to display their distinctive charisma and ring work.
