AEW star Mercedes Moné, formerly WWE’s Sasha Banks, has taken to X to voice outrage over a tactless YouTube channel named “Ring Rivals” that used her image in a thumbnail along with the caption “He Ate My P*ssy.” The misleading video was supposedly about why she left WWE, but it was obviously just clickbait, which she deemed “exploitation.” Additionally, Moné urged fans to flag and report the channel immediately, stressing that no one should tolerate such content, with her post highlighting the harassment many female wrestlers face online.
In 2025, a CryptoManiaks Sports study revealed that 73% of all harassment toward wrestlers targets women, with the most abused stars being Charlotte Flair, Nia Jax, Mercedes Moné, Saraya, and Tegan Nox. Beyond digital toxicity, which typically comes in the form of body-shaming and exploitative content like the aforementioned video, real threats also persist, with stalking incidents involving Asuka, Sonya Deville, Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, and Roxanne Perez all occurring in recent years, stemming from the internet.
