AEW’s Will Ospreay hasn’t competed since a Lights Out Steel Cage match at Forbidden Door due to requiring neck surgery, with no return timeline made public. However, while his highly anticipated comeback remains unclear, his fiancée, Alex Windsor, has shared an optimistic update with metro.co.uk, noting that although it’s been a struggle for Osprea, he is “smashing it” and she fully expects him to return better than ever.
32-year-old Ospreay debuted in 2012 on the UK independent scene, excelling in Progress and RevPro with multiple championships. From there, he joined NJPW in 2016, winning three IWGP Junior Heavyweight titles, the NEVER Openweight Championship, and the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, establishing himself as one of the best in-ring performers in the world. Therefore, it was no surprise when he signed with AEW in 2024 and began delivering acclaimed matches alongside names like Bryan Danielson, Adam Page, Kenny Omega, Konosuke Takeshita, and Kyle Fletcher.
