Bea Priestley Reveals Who Was Given Her Promised Spot In SmackDown Stable

When Bea Priestley, known as Blair Davenport at the time, was called up to SmackDown last year, many anti-AEW fans on social media joyfully speculated she could become a bigger star than her ex-boyfriend Will Ospreay. However, all that talk evaporated when WWE unexpectedly released her in February, seemingly due to budget cuts.

And now, while being interviewed by That Sweet Pop, Priestley has revealed she was told she was going to be part of The Green Regime, but found herself surplus to requirements just six days later, with Alba Fyre instead being given the spot she had been promised.

“I had one of the writers come to me, talking to us about what they want me and Piper to be wearing, how they want us to behave, like all the gimmicks, all this stuff. Like, it was, it was happening. They said, ‘In two weeks, we’re going to be doing Chelsea and Michin. You’re coming in, costing Michin and joining Chelsea.’ You know, that was exactly how they did it with Alba, and I was like, ‘Cool.’ And then six days later, I don’t have a job.”Bea Priestly

29-year-old Priestley has already had a notable pro wrestling career, as in addition to her time in WWE, she has worked for Stardom, World of Sport, AEW, and even served as a valet in New Japan. Still, her immediate priority appears to be her OnlyFans account, which is apparently generating significant money. However, given her well-known love for the business, it seems unlikely she will follow Mandy Rose and Lacey Evans’ lead and step away from the ring altogether.
