Bianca Belair Shares Unfortunate Update Following Recent Surgery

Bianca Belair, who has been sidelined since suffering a broken knuckle at WrestleMania 41 recently underwent surgery to address ongoing issues after nearly a year out. However it appears anyone hoping she’ll be back in action soon will be disappointed as she has disclosed in an Instagram update that she is still dealing with pain and her finger keeps stiffening back up, saying “It feels like I’m constantly starting over.

Most days after therapy this is what happens. My finger just stiffens back up. It feels like I’m constantly starting over and everything it’s painful. Every hour I’m trying to move it so eventually it won’t be this way. Also, trying to keep scar tissue from forming again.– Bianca Belair

A former All-SEC track athlete at the University of Tennessee, 36-year-old Belair debuted in NXT in 2016. From there she rose rapidly, winning the 2021 Women’s Royal Rumble and main-eventing WrestleMania 37, defeating Sasha Banks for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. She later became Raw Women’s Champion for a record 420 days and therefore remains a top star despite her injury hiatus.
