Britt Baker Breaks Silence Amid Long AEW Absence & Confirms Her Dentist Status

During a recent interview with TikToker Adam Glyn, former AEW Women’s World Champion Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. directly addressed her absence from AEW television, saying she loves it when fans talk about her and that they should “stay tuned.” This suggests there is a chance of her return to AEW fans’ screens in the near future, with Tony Khan having previously expressed similar hope. Additionally, she confirmed that she has stepped away from her full-time dental practice, citing safety concerns stemming from overly intense fans.

I just love that the fans are still talking about me. Keep the chatter up because I love it. Stay tuned. As much as I love the wrestling fans, they are a little passionate, sometimes for their own good and my own safety. It got a little carried away sometimes with some scary wrestling fans wanting to come kill me because I’m a bad guy.– Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D.

34-year-old Baker became one of AEW’s foundational stars as the promotion’s first signed female wrestler in 2019. Subsequently, she rose to prominence with a memorable heel turn, capturing the AEW Women’s World Championship at Double or Nothing 2021. However, a heated altercation with MJF and his now-wife, Alicia Atout, seemingly halted her push, and she hasn’t wrestled for AEW since November 13, 2024, seemingly having been purposely taken off television.
