During a virtual signing, Ric Flair revealed he had recently been in talks to wrestle fellow NWA alumni Ricky Morton, but the money wasn’t right. And while the 76-year-old has since taken to X.com to deny that he intends to wrestle again, his daughter, Charlotte Flair, has totally shut this down by tweeting, “Absolutely not,” likely due to his highly publicized heart issues.
Flair finally retired in 2022, in what was billed as the definitive end to his 50-year career, teaming with his son-in-law, Andrade El Idolo, to defeat Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal in a tag team bout lasting about 27 minutes. However, during the match, Flair appeared exhausted and passed out multiple times. Initially, his performance was put down to dehydration. Flair later revealed he had suffered a legitimate heart attack during the event without realizing it at the time.
