After enrolling in classes, she announced her debut performance on March 26, 2026, in Los Angeles, expressing excitement and saying she isn’t afraid to “suck.” The 40-year-old would also emphasize the importance of dreaming big, saying you need to go “where the dreams are.“
Several professional wrestlers have tried out stand-up comedy, leveraging their charisma and storytelling skills from the ring. Pioneers like Mick Foley built successful comedy careers through spoken-word performances and tours. Colt Cabana blended wrestling tales with humor, while Dolph Ziggler and Sami Zayn also took to the stage. Of course, this won’t be easy for Perry, who isn’t known for her humor, although, considering she’s retired from the ring, she does need other creative outlets and appears realistic about her potential.
