Tanea Brooks, better known to pro wrestling fans as Rebel, hasn’t wrestled for over a year and has not appeared on AEW television for even longer. Nevertheless, despite this long absence, Fightful Select has confirmed that she remains under contract with the company and is still being paid.

Yet, thanks to her charisma, she ended up being introduced to fans alongside Dr. Britt Baker, establishing them as a popular double act despite being heels. However it’s known she has been unwell for some time, with it recently disclosed by the 47-year-old herself that she has been diagnosed with primary pulmonary lymphoma.
