At one point, Tiffany Stratton was internally scheduled to defend her WWE Women’s Championship against Nia Jax and Jade Cargill at Wrestlepalooza. However, after she took a bad landing on the outside during last week’s SmackDown, it appeared the match was off due to a potential concussion. And while the match won’t be taking place on the premium live event, according to PWInsider.com, the change isn’t because of any injury, as Stratton is actually fine, but because WWE didn’t want too many major matches on one show.
26-year-old Statton, whose real name is Jessica Woynilko, is a former bodybuilder and gymnast who broke into the wrestling business in 2021, initially training with Greg Gagne, the son of the legendary AWA promoter, before signing with WWE. From there, she was initially featured on WWE’s developmental brand NXT. Yet thanks to her charisma, athleticism, and good looks, she was fast-tracked to the main roster and now appears set to be a massive star, having already achieved a memorable WrestleMania victory over Charlotte Flair.
