Sherilyn Guerrero, daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero, recently announced she is training at Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling, even though she has long resisted entering the business herself. And now, in a new interview, she has revealed that her perspective has changed after conversations with Zilla Fatu and Roman Reigns, who helped her see that “wrestling runs in our blood.

“This year I met Zilla Fatu, Roman, and a few other wrestlers who really helped instill in me how wrestling runs in our blood. Especially thinking about his father and my dad. They truly lived wrestling and put their whole hearts into it. … Fans have always asked me, ‘When are you going to start wrestling?’ But my dad kept us so humble that I always thought, no, not me.”Sherilyn Guerrero

Eddie Guerrero, born into the legendary Guerrero wrestling family, married Vickie Guerrero in 1990 and remained together until his tragic death in 2005. The couple had two daughters, Shaul Marie, born in 1990, who briefly wrestled in WWE as Raquel Diaz, and Sherilyn Amber, born in 1995. During a two-year separation, Guerrero fathered Kaylie Marie in 2002 with another partner whom Vickie later embraced.
