In a controversial new episode of her Too Much Information podcast, Shelly Martinez has harshly criticized Janel Grant, the former WWE employee who filed a lawsuit in 2024 accusing Vince McMahon of assault, trafficking, and coercion. The retired wrestler would insist the relationship was a consensual choice for career and financial gains, going as far as to call Grant an “entitled little b*tch” and claiming who deserves life’s harsh lessons rather than sympathy.
“I get Janel Grant and where she’s coming from. But I’m here to say it’s a choice, and she chose to have this arrangement with McMahon. She chose to go through certain things to get what she wanted at the end of the day … Janel Grant is acting like a little b*tch that needs to get her ass beat. She needs to get her ass beat. And I’m not saying someone needs to go physically harm her, but life needs to physically beat her ass because she needs to know how that feels. Because this entitled little b*tch that has this list of demands, and then now she’s over here flipping the script.” – Shelly Martinez
46-year-old Martinez debuted in professional wrestling in December 2000, gaining experience on the Southern California independent circuit, leading to her signing with WWE in 2005, training in OVW before debuting on ECW in 2006 as the vampire character Ariel, managing Kevin Thorn until her 2007 release. In 2008, she joined TNA as Salinas, valeting for LAX, but failed to establish herself as a star during this run, and ultimately retired from in-ring competition in 2017.
