Over the weekend, Evil Uno’s Mystery Wrestling promotion held a show in Ontario, and among the matches was Allison Kay and Marti Belle vs. Penelope Ford and The Bunny. This was notable as The Bunny, also known as Allie, was making her return to the ring for the first time in two years. This comes after she was spotted at a TNA television taping earlier this year and recently revealed on social media that she has begun taking bumps again, saying that despite the pain, “it felt so good.”
The 38-year-old, whose real name is Laura Dennis, began wrestling in 2005, and over the years, she has competed in various promotions, including TNA, ROH, and CZW. This experience paved the way for her to join AEW as one of its inaugural female talents shortly after the company’s creation. However, despite being both an in-ring competitor and the manager of The Butcher and The Blade, she would ultimately depart the promotion by mutual agreement.
