Lacey Lane, still best known for her time in WWE as Kayden Carter, began wrestling for ROH earlier this year and, last month, made her AEW debut, putting over Mercedes Moné. And while it’s known that AEW is more selective in signing former WWE talents nowadays, Fightful Select has reported that Lane is officially All Elite, having clearly impressed Tony Khan with her performances.
Lane, real name Allysa Lane, broke into the business in 2016 via the Team 3D Academy and signed with WWE in 2018. From there, she was partnered with Katana Chance, and together they had success in both NXT and on the main roster. Still, both were deemed surplus to requirements by the company back in May, and since then, the duo have gone their separate ways, with Chance’s long-term wrestling future uncertain.
