Former WWE Talent May Have Subtly Confirmed She’s Retired From The Ring

Former WWE talent Aliyah has hinted at retirement from professional wrestling, having announced on Passes.com that she’s selling all her wrestling-related items. On the adult content platform, she wrote that she was selling everything she has that is wrestling-related, including her gear and boots, encouraging subscribers to DM her. And while she could just be having a clear-out, the fact that she has wrestled only twice since 2022 suggests that wrestling isn’t her priority going forward, with her last match almost one year ago.

31-year-old Aliyah, real name Nhooph Al-Areebi, began wrestling on the independent circuit in 2013 as Jasmin Areebi, competing mainly for promotions in Canada. Signed by WWE in 2015, she soon debuted in NXT, securing her first TV win in 2016. Yet it wouldn’t be until 2021 that she was called up to the main roster, and while she won the Women’s Tag Team Championship with Raquel Rodriguez, she was released in 2023.
