Gail Kim Reveals She Turned Down WWE’s Return Offer

Wrestling icon Gail Kim, a trailblazer in women’s divisions across WWE and TNA, has confirmed on X that she received an offer to return to WWE following her TNA firing earlier this year. This was disclosed while Kim was responding to a fan’s question, saying, “I had to decline the offer, unfortunately.” As of writing, details of the proposed job remain unknown, but it was likely related to working at the WWE Performance Center.

48-year-old Kim debuted in 2000 on the independent circuit after training in Toronto. Subsequently, she joined WWE in 2002 and won the Women’s Championship in her first televised match. Released in 2004, she thrived in TNA, becoming the inaugural Knockouts Champion in 2007, but returned to WWE the following year. Still, three years later, she rejoined TNA, initially as a wrestler, but later took on backstage responsibilities.
