WWE is currently holding tryouts at the Performance Center, with talents previously scouted looking to earn a contract. And while there are plenty of well-known indie talents currently trying to impress, the big talking point after Shawn Michaels shared a video on X.com of those in attendance is that Miranda Alize is notably among them. Alize’s participation is notable because she and her girlfriend, Nixon Newell, recently appeared on AEW television but cut their time in the company short because they didn’t agree with the booking plans.
In November 2025, Alize and Nixon walked out of an AEW Collision taping hours before their scheduled match against TayJay. Initial reports suggested they refused to lose after a prior defeat. However, it was later clarified that the dispute centered on the match being allotted only three minutes, which they felt was insufficient for a meaningful bout. Subsequently, the pair were replaced by Hyan and Maya World, who were praised for stepping in at short notice and were soon afterwards signed to contracts.
