Jasmin St. Claire Reveals Mickey Rourke Refused To Share GoFundMe Link For His “The Wrestler” Co-Star

Jasmin St. Claire’s X account has recently become a must-follow, with the former adult actress more than happy to share her opinion on various topics on the platform. And now, following news that Mickey Rourke’s manager launched a GoFundMe campaign to help him amid financial struggles, St. Claire has revealed that he previously refused to support her friend Necro Butcher, who was his co-star in “The Wrestler,” when he was injured in Japan. Apparently, she reached out to both him and his assistant to share the GoFundMe link, but they wouldn’t, so she perceives his own campaign as hypocrisy.

“The #mickeyrourke go fund me is ironic… A few years ago when a good friend of mine, Necro Butcher, was laying in a hospital in Japan and I set up a GoFundMe to help him with his medical bills I had reached out to Micky & his “assistant” to share the link. They wouldn’t. For someone who portrayed a wrestler who is living the realities of Wrestling to not even share the link to help us reach the goal was messed up.”Jasmin St. Claire

Necro Butcher, real name Dylan Summers, debuted in professional wrestling in 1998 after military service and soon began competing in deathmatches in promotions such as CZW, IWA Mid-South, and Big Japan. This would open the door for him to appear in the 2008 film “The Wrestler,” where he fought Rourke’s Randy “The Ram” Robinson character in a brutal, hardcore deathmatch. This scene, while gruesome, highlighted the physical toll of wrestling and is likely the most memorable moment from the acclaimed movie.
