Before this week’s episode of SmackDown, news spread online that WWE superstar Jordynne Grace suffered an injury during the Main Event tapings and was unable to leave the ring unaided. The former TNA Knockouts Champion has now confirmed this herself on X.com, sharing photos of herself in a wheelchair and later on crutches. While the precise injury wasn’t confirmed, Grace captioned one of the photos taken alongside fellow injured wrestler Chelsea Green, the “ankle sisters.“
30-year-old Grace, born Patricia Parker, first debuted in 2011 and, after time on the independents, became a prominent part of TNA. During her time with the company, she became a three-time TNA Knockouts World Champion and a Knockouts Tag Team Champion, establishing herself as one to watch. Then, in 2024, her career went to the next level when she made a surprise appearance it the WWE Royal Rumble match as the TNA Knockouts Champion, before signing with WWE, joining NXT, and later moving to SmackDown.
