Katie Forbes Hospitalized Amid Pregnancy Complications Earlier this year, Katie Forbes, now best known as the wife of WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam, announced that the couple was expecting twin girls. However, in worrying news, Van Dam has told TMZ during a new interview that Forbes is currently hospitalized due to preeclampsia. This serious pregnancy complication poses risks to her and their unborn twin girls, and means doctors plan to deliver the babies at 34 weeks if they don’t arrive sooner, potentially making them Christmas babies.
34-year-old Forbes, debuting in the business in 2015, soon received plenty of attention for her looks and raunchy attitude. Arguably, her career highlight came when she joined Impact Wrestling alongside Van Dan in 2019, during which she worked occasional matches in the Knockouts division, notably sharing the ring with Jordynne Grace. Post-2020, she competed on the independent circuit and, earlier this year, was working for ICP’s JCW promotion, though she obviously stepped away once she discovered she was pregnant.
