Kelly Kincaid Reveals Why She’s Departing WWE

On Friday, Kelly Kincaid, best known for being an NXT backstage interviewer, announced she will no longer be under contract with WWE as of February 14, 2026. At the time, it wasn’t known whether this was her decision or management’s. However, she later revealed, in a response to fan questions on X.com, that she “wasn’t given the option” to renew her contract, indicating she didn’t receive a new contract offer.

34-year-old Kincaid, real name Kelly Verbil, began her wrestling career in 2018 as Quinn McKay on the independent scene. This would see her join Ring of Honor in 2019, where she wrestled sparingly while excelling as a backstage interviewer and color commentator. Then, in 2022, she signed with WWE, where she was renamed and introduced to fans via NXT Level Up. And while she took maternity leave from the company, she returned to WWE television in March 2025.
