Beloved ring announcer Lilian Garcia returned to WWE last year following the shock departure of Samantha Irvin. And now, having demonstrated that she remains one of the best in the business, she has announced on Instagram that following “an incredible year,” she has signed a new two-year contract with the company, extending her tenure through at least 2027.
59-year-old Garcia joined WWE in 1999 during the height of the Attitude Era, and thanks to this, her voice is instantly recognizable to anyone who followed the product during this time. However, despite being such a huge part of WWE, she left the company in 2016, explaining afterwards that her father had cancer, and after they moved in together, she wasn’t prepared to leave him alone even for a few days a month.
