Wrestlers frequently come and go in all promotions, and while disappointing for those involved it is part of the business. And now in news that won’t shock many, it has been reported by Fightful Select that having not wrestled for either AEW or ROH is well over a year, Kiera Hogan is no longer under contract. Seemingly, her departure only just occurred as AEW wished the Joseline’s Cabaret California cast member a happy birthday on Tuesday.
Having made her name in TNA, it looked like Hogan had every chance of becoming a star in AEW after she was put alongside Jade Cargill in The Baddies stable. However, that wouldn’t work out, and most recently, she had been performing for sister promotion ROH, with her most notable match being a Chicago Street Fight with Athena. Additionally, she was part of the tournament to crown the inaugural ROH Women’s World Television Championship, but lost in the first round to her real-life girlfriend, Diamante.
