Maria Kanellis has unfortunately had to deal with multiple health issues in recent years, and sadly disclosed in 2024 that she needed surgery after a growth was discovered. Thankfully, she would subsequently receive good news, being declared cancer-free, which was obviously a massive weight off her mind. However, now, while currently pregnant with her third child, she has taken to X to disclose she has had a cancerous mole removed, leaving her with “a beautiful 3 inch scar on my leg.“
43-year-old Kanellis broke into the business two decades ago via WWE’s Diva Search, a platform that also launched the careers of Michelle McCool and Christy Hemme. This initially saw a six-year WWE run, followed by time in both ROH and TNA on multiple occasions. And while she would return to WWE, most recently, she was part of AEW, where her husband, Mike Bennett, remains employed.
