Mickie James Reveals Who Will Be Inducting Her Into The TNA Hall Of Fame

It was recently revealed that this year’s TNA Hall of Fame induction ceremony will focus on past stars of their Knockouts division, with Mickie James, Velvet Sky, and Angelina set to receive the promotion’s most significant honour. And now, during a just-released interview with WrestlingNews.co, James has disclosed that she will be inducted by former rival and real-life close friend Lisa Marie Varon, better known to fans as Victoria in WWE and Tara in TNA.

“Someone who was pretty synonymous with the whole production of hardcore country, and I think that we made some incredible historic moments together. And that would be our dear friend Lisa Marie. I’ve asked her, and she was, you know, how Lisa is. … I messaged Tommy [Dreamer] to go like, hey, I did give some thought, and I really like to ask Lisa. And I was waiting for his response of like, okay, because, you know, she’s under a legends deal now. And like, you know, trying to think about all those particulars. And I was like, is that going to be okay? Whatever. And he never responded, and then the next day, who do I have a five-minute voice note from bawling? But my sweet Lisa.”Mickie James

Between her WWE and TNA runs, Mickie James is an 11-time women’s world champion, and while she hasn’t competed regularly since 2023, the 46-year-old remains very much involved in the wrestling business. This includes appearing as a coach on WWE LFG, working as an Executive Producer and Head of Female Talent for OVW, while also being a supportive wife of SmackDown’s on-screen General Manager, Nick Aldis.
