The AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship match between champions Babes of Wrath and challengers MegaBad took an unfortunate turn on Dynamite when Penelope Ford suffered a legitimate injury after landing a moonsault to the outside. And now, Fightful Select reports that after medical staff deemed Ford unable to continue, an audible was called, leading to Lena Kross causing a DQ rather than the planned finish. As of writing, updates on Ford’s condition are pending, but most fans aren’t optimistic.

33-year-old Ford, real name Olivia Hasler, began her wrestling journey after being a gymnast, making her debut in 2014 for Combat Zone Wrestling. From there, she joined All Elite Wrestling in the promotion’s early days, initially as Joey Janela’s valet, before focusing on in-ring competition. However, her recent career progression was halted when she tore her ulnar collateral ligament, which sidelined her until January 2026, meaning this latest injury couldn’t have come at a worse time.
