PWI Editor Issues Apology To Popular Indie Wrestler

It was a big weekend for Hyan, as after Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize walked out on AEW, the Texan got to make her return to AEW alongside Maya World against TayJay. However, she has now experienced a letdown after failing to make Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s annual women’s PWI 250.

Still, it has since been discovered that her omission was a mistake, as after it was pointed out that she was omitted, PWI editor Kevin Elvaney has apologised on Xto one of the best unsigned wrestlers on the planet.

33-year-old Hyan, whose real name is Hyaneyoung Gerard, launched her career in 2014 via Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling. From there, she has worked for multiple promotions, including TNA, ROH, and even WWE as an enhancement talent against Nia Jax. Yet she has yet to be offered a full-time contract from a major promotion, although she is clearly on AEW’s radar after the weekend.
