This past weekend, Matt and Jeff Hardy appeared on a live stream with Kai Cenat, who, for those unaware, is one of the world’s most prominent streamers. Obviously, this was a big deal to wrestling fans who also enjoy this type of content, although Matt’s wife, Reby Hardy, was not impressed. This is because, during the stream, when given an opportunity to plug her Twitch account, Matt would use her real name rather than Reby Sky or Gothic Baby’s Mom.
Subsequently, Reby would take to Instagram to call out her husband, saying she felt it was an intentional slight, noting she has “gone out of my way to promote this man and his brand, regardless of how much of a f*cking clown I look like in the process.” Additionally, she would say, “I’ve had a lot of secret haters in my life, but for some reason this one hurt the most.” However, Matt has since played this down in the comments, saying he went out of his way to promote Reby multiple times and had many other things to promote.
Part of Reby’s charm is her no-nonsense attitude, with the seemingly retired wrestler never being afraid to call someone out who she feels deserves it. Yet, she has been accused of sharing too much of her private life in public, with an example of this being when she claimed to her followers that Matt’s “brain is fried with CTE.” Still, despite their relationship having its ups and downs, Matt has publicly credited his wife for helping him get clean, and therefore, the positives far outweigh any negatives.
