Shotzi’s Emotional Plea Pays Off As Her Missing Brother Is Located

On Tuesday, MLW wrestler Shotzi Blackheart took to social media to post an urgent public appeal after he brother Deano went missing after his car crashed near San Francisco’s Fort Mason and Marina District. Security footage showed him walking away from the wreck, but he was seemingly disoriented. And now, in good news, the former WWE star has confirmed on X.com that following widespread sharing and support, Deano has been located and will receive medical care at the hospital.

My brother has been found and is being taken to the hospital. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who shared the post, reached out, and helped spread the word. The support and kindness from so many people truly means the world to our family.– Shotzi Blackheart

Shotzi isn’t the first wrestler to turn to social media over a missing sibling, as in January 2021, WWE’s Bayley faced a frightening family emergency when her younger brother, Jeremy Martinez, went missing on Fort Lewis Military Base in Washington state. Bayley quickly shared an urgent plea on Instagram, rallying fans and the community for help to find him. Thankfully, Jeremy was quickly located thanks to the rapid response, which goes to show the power of social media.
