During WrestlePalooza, The Undertaker rode to ringside, sat next to Stephanie McMahon, who was in the audience, and revealed the news that she was going to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame next year. And now, while speaking to Megan Morant, the former WWE executive and on-screen star, has discussed this moment, saying she didn’t know what was happening until The Undertaker said the word “induction.”
49-year-old McMahon began her WWE career in 1998 after earning a communications degree from Boston University. From there, she quickly rose through her family’s company, serving as Executive Vice President of Creative, Chief Brand Officer, and briefly as interim Chairwoman and co-CEO. On-screen, she was a prominent performer, appearing as SmackDown General Manager, Raw Commissioner, and even wrestling, holding the Women’s Championship in 2000. And while she has since stepped away from day-to-day involvement, she still occasionally makes television appearances and visits the backstage, in addition to hosting ESPN+’s “Stephanie’s Places” and the “What’s Your Story” podcast.
