When news broke that The Undertaker was launching a podcast, wrestling fans were shocked, as it was believed his old-school attitude to kayfabe would oppose this. Still, he has since made it a massive success, and due to WWE and Fanatics’ podcast partnership, which produces “What’s Your Story?” hosted by Stephanie McMahon and Cody Rhodes’ “What Do You Wanna Talk About?,” “Six Feet Under With the Undertaker” has become a TKO property.
However, there has been some criticism over the fact that he replaced his original co-host, Matthew Lyda, with his wife and fellow WWE Hall of Famer, Michelle McCool. And now, during the latest episode of the podcast, The Undertaker has addressed this fan backlash, saying, “This is the direction I wanted to take the show,” and seemingly suggests that those who aren’t entertained should simply not listen.
The Undertaker’s podcast was initially called “Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway,” which demonstrated WWE had no involvement. Subsequently, the YouTube channel associated with the show gained 761,000 subscribers, and episodes featuring Mark Henry, The Godfather, and Kane all achieved over 1 million views. However, his episode with Donald Trump is the one that truly made headlines, as it took place during the lead-up to the 2024 American presidential election, and arguably played a small part in helping determine the next leader of the US.
