And now, after landing film roles for CM Punk (Zootopia 2/Night Patrol), Drew McIntyre (upcoming Highlander reboot), and Liv Morgan (Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo) he has revealed on X that one of his goal for 2026 is to secure a movie role for Blake Monroe, stating “she is way too talented and we will unearth something great for her.“
27-year-old Monroe, real name Mariah Mead, began her wrestling career in the UK as a ring announcer in 2018 before making her in-ring debut on February 2, 2019. After success on the UK indie scene, she joined Japan’s Stardom in 2022, winning the Goddesses of Stardom Championship with Mina Shirakawa as part of Club Venus. Subsequently, she signed with AEW in 2023 and became a one-time AEW Women’s World Champion during a memorable feud with Toni Storm. However, with WWE always her dream, she has since become a prominent performer in NXT, establishing herself as a top star, with most assuming her main roster call-up is imminent.
