WWE Places Raquel Rodriguez In Concussion Protocol Following Raw

During this week’s episode of Raw, Nikki Bella interfered in Raquel Rodriguez’s match against Stephanie Vaquer, slamming The Judgment Day’s member head-first into the steel steps and ending the bout in a no-contest. And now Bryan Alvarez has reported on Wrestling Observer Live that she is in concussion protocol, though it is noted that this is precautionary and no actual concussion has been confirmed.

“Raquel hit those steps hard, and she had this giant freakin’ goose egg on her head. Yeah, concussion protocol, which does not mean, by the way, that she has a concussion. Any time you get any sort of head injury, and you get the goose egg, they put you in concussion protocol just to make sure you’re okay.”Bryan Alvarez

Rodriguez, real name Victoria González, signed with WWE in 2016 after a brief spell on he indies. In NXT, under the name Raquel González, she won the NXT Women’s Championship and was twice NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion with Dakota Kai. Called up in 2022, she established herself as a tag team specialist, winning six WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships, one with Aliyah, four with Liv Morgan, and one with Roxanne Perez.
