WWE Star Stephanie Vaquer Addresses Past Domestic Violence Ordeal

To acknowledge International Women’s Day on March 8, 2026, WWE star Stephanie Vaquer shared a powerful message on Instagram addressing her past domestic violence experience with ex-partner El Cuatrero. The Chilean wrote, “This Women’s Day, a huge hug to all women, especially those who, like me, spoke up and reported despite fear and threats. He is still free, but I am still alive, and I will keep fighting for the truth and justice until the end.” Vaquer made the horrific allegations in 2023, leading to El Cuatrero’s arrest and nearly 2 years of incarceration.

30-year-old El Cuatrero, the son of lucha libre legend Cien Caras, debuted in 2010 and rose to prominence himself in CMLL as part of La Nueva Generación Dinamita alongside brothers Sansón and Forastero. After capturing the CMLL World Middleweight Championship and the trios titles, the rudo moved to AAA in 2021, which is still considered by some fans to be his home promotion. However, after his arrest on charges of domestic violence and attempted femicide, his career in AAA is likely over, given WWE’s holding a 51% controlling stake in the company.
